The opening of our first-ever chapter exhibition is coming, Friday, October 3. Members of the Yellow Breeches chapter of the Guild were given a challenge: create a work of craft that reveals an important facet of your personality.
The collection includes enameling, metalwork, art quilts, woodburning, painting, jewelry, stained glass, nuno felting, ceramics, furniture, found object sculpture, encaustic…. and more! (For the complete list of exhibiting artists, check ybcrafts.org.)
During the opening reception, October 3 from 5-9 pm, artisans will be present to discuss their work with interested visitors. Our members are brilliant, funny, and original – so join us! You’ll definitely have fun.
The exhibit will also be open during ArtWalk, and closes November 2. Gallery hours are Monday-Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, and Sundays 12 – 4 pm.
